Gridview Sort XML Data

I have written code to sort data retrieved from a database when using a
Datagrid, but now I am wanting to sort a XML datasource and I'm not sure what
I need to do this.

I am guessing that I want to write the "onsorting" event, but I am guessing
that I need to itterate though the XML data file some how and sort the data
manually somehow. Can someone point me in the right direction?
