Hosted Form in IE question...

I've got an web application that's using a hosted form in IE. The server that
is hosting it is running Windows Server 2003 with SP1 and the .NET 1.1
framework. It has all of the latest and greatest service packs and updates.

Everything has been working fine up to this point. The other day, however,
we switched our site over so that it uses SSL, and we've noticed that the
Hosted Form no longer works.

When I go to the hosted form with a Windows Server 2003 box, the hosted form
fails to load. In place of the hosted form, I see is the icon that is used to
represent an image that has yet to load. Since IE wasn't providing me with
any helpful error message up front, I updated the registry so that IE writes
error logs to disk. IE's error log is reporting a
"System.IO.FileNotFoundException" exception because it's now having trouble
finding the DLL.

When I go to the hosted form with a Windows XP (Home or Pro) box, IE shuts
down immediately. The error logs for those boxes are less helpful. It seems
to find the DLL... but then it stops. The last thing I see in the log is
something akin to this:

Microsoft.IE.SecureFactory: Created instance of type
https://<mySite/<myDLL>::<myClass>

Switching my site back so that it doesn't use SSL makes everything work
perfectly. I'm pretty sure this isn't a .NET security issue. We had our share
of headaches with security before we got this thing working to begin with.
Any help or suggestions you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

- Keith
