How to use SSL

I'm new on using SSL. I want a webapp with a SSL-connection. Are these the
steps to perform:
- get a SSL certificate
- install it under IIS
- use HTTPS instead of HTTP

Are there no special or other things I have to do in VS.net (C#)?
