HOWTO: Stop BIN Folder From Opening

How can I stop the bin folder from automatically opening and showing all its
contents upon startup, moving from project to project, etc.? It should only
open when you click on it to expand it.

Are you able to configure the environment to hide non-project files?

Where is this setting? Could you give the 'path', as in Tools->Options-> ...

Will this stop the annoying bin folder expansion in the solution explorer?
