html input image overlap

[D to the O to the M]

I have some buttons on my page. I'm using something like this as the
tag
<INPUT id="btnLogin" type="image" src="images/login.gif">

Sometimes, not that often, the buttons overlap each other and I have
to hit refresh to get them to draw correctly on my page.

Would anyone know why this happends. And what I can do about it.
