Inserting data in a saved file

Hi,
I'm a student of CEE department of IUT.I've a question related to
Turbo C.How to insert any data in a saved .txt file through turbo c
without opening that file?

write directly to the hard drive

Maybe that works in Turbo-C, but in ANSI-C?
