Is RubyForge on the fritz?

I'm getting a timeout error trying to install gems and grabbing files
from http://ruport.rubyforge.org has slowed to a crawl. Is something
amiss?

This happens to me every time I try to use RubyForge from my home
office. At another location (my cube) RF works fine.

I suggest getting your gems this way:

gem install ruport --source
http://rubyforge.planetargon.com/gems.rubyforge.org/

I tested from 2 locations, my Dreamhost shell and office. No dice.

Eh weird....

I did use a mirror, though the planetargon one was behind.

And as soon as I say that, it's back up again. The internet is a
mystical and dark force.
