Javascript menu hidden by Flash

I have a menu that is just above a flash animation. Problem is the
menu is hidden by the flash app. I understand this is a problem that
can't be fixed with NN. IE5 and Mozilla don't work either, but the
problem doesn't happen with IE6.

Is there a fix for this problem yet?

Thanks
Jim

On Windows there is a Flash setting called wmode, you need to set it on
both the object element (with param I think) as well as the <embed>
element (as an attribute), see
http://home.arcor.de/martin.honnen/javascript/pluginTests/flashWmodeTest.html
for an example but be aware that even on Windows for instance Opera
doesn't support wmode and on other platforms I think the plugin always
sits on top of normal content so it is a better solution to structure
your site in a way that the menu doesn't overlap with any plugin.

We ran into this problem as well. Since there is no available
cross-platform/cross-browser solution we simply integrated the
navigation into the Flash. Not by any stretch of the imagination a
preferred solution, but the only one that was available to us. As far
as I know, nothing can obscure an element in a Flash movie except
another element of the same Flash movie.
