I am trying to run a simple "Hello World" java program on an iPAQ 3850 with
Jeode. I wrote and compiled it - it runs fine - in Windows 2000. The Jeode
program resides in a Jeode folder on the iPAQ, and I put the HelloWorld
class in the same folder. I created a .lnk file in Windows 2000 with
Notepad, and also put it into the Jeode folder. Everything's in the same
folder. I run it, and keep getting the 'NoClassDefFoundError'. I think
it's the syntax of .lnk. I have tried
18#".\Jeode\evm.exe" -cp "Windows\Program Files\Startup\Program Files\Jeode"
HelloWorld
as well as many other variations, and I always get the same error message.
The syntax structure seems to be
18#
path to evm.exe
-cp
path to class
class name
This is a school project; I am totally new to this and cannot get my hands
on the actual equipment except for an hour or two a week. I think it's a
simple error.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks.
