jremoting and RMI

Today I discovered a project that claim to provide an RPC mechanism
different that the standard RMI that solves some problems of RMI.

It's called jremoting: http://jremoting.codehaus.org/

Someone knows it?
Someone had worked with it?
Some opinions?
When prefer jremoting to RMI? When prefere RMI?

When prefer jremoting to RMI? When prefere RMI?

For internal usage then try and see if you like it.

For external usage then go with the standard (RMI).
