Hi group,
I am just back from MIX06 in Las Vegas, and had the best time there. The
demos which were shown were mind blowing. Using XAML, Windows
Presentation Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation and the
provided tools (Expression, Visual Studio), the development time will be
reduced drastically.
Never before have I heard Microsoft (including Bill Gates) speak so much
about compatibility, especially with Safari and Firefox. This seems to
become a real concern for them.
Other keywords repeated many times: Mashups, Gadgets (see Live.com),
Atlas, RSS, Infocards. I let you google these up ;-)
All in all a memorable experience, which I didn't totally digest yet.
