Hello,

Is there a way in HTML or Java to force the browser in kioskmode?

Thanks...

Hai,
JavaScript, you obviously mean. Java != JavaScript.

Ok, slip of the tonguy.
Skip that word from your dictionary, it does not apply to web authoring.
Web authors can merely *suggest* and Web users have a choice to accept,
reject or use alteratives. The more the author tries to 'force', the
less the user can make choices. The outcome of that is in most cases a
negative one. Acceptance of not being able to force anything will also
unburden you as an author in a great way.

Afther a night studie, I am convinced. So I skip that word from my
dictionary and wil "advice" to use F11, ok?
There has been an interesting and lengthy discussion going on in this
group. You must have just missed it, since the thread title is very
clear, "Opening fullscreen windows using JavaScript".

If you are unable to retrieve this past thread in any other way, try
Google:
<URL:http://groups.google.com/[email protected]
.inter.net&rnum=1&prev=/groups%3Fq%3DOpening%2Bfullscreen%2Bwindows%2Busi
ng%2BJavaScript%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26ie%3DUTF-8%26selm%3Dben1dp%2524icb%25
241%2540news.eusc.inter.net%26rnum%3D1>

This thread (with al his references) learns me a lot of pop-ups as wel.
A lot wiser I can use it to make my site more user friendly.

Thanks and greetings...
