Latest news on MacRuby and HotCocoa

I was intrigued by the talks on MacRuby and HotCocoa at RubyConf
'08.

Sadly I've seen no updates on macruby.org regarding news on either
project.

Anybody know what's going on with these? Are they still in active
development?
