log4c thread safe ?

Can anyone tell me if log4c - logging lib from http://log4c.sourceforge.net
- is thread safe or not ? In my C application, I have multiple POSIX
threads and I want tyto know if I can use safely log4c. In the TODO
file that comes with log4c downloadable package, I see some
inconclusive comments about thread safety.
