Hi, i'm a beginner in using log4j.
I noticed that messages appear twice: in my log file, which i
configured in log4j.properties, and on consolle (standard output).
How can i avoid them on consolle leaving them in log file only?

set the property "log4j.rootCategory" to the right level and appender
