I never developed on System 6, so I don't know how well it will work.
You might need to use Multi-Finder. I think Apple also provides System
7 free up to about 7.2. I think it's only 7.5 and later that you have
to pay for.

Forgot about ThinkC. I'm not sure which of these products are still
available for sale or free.
