method POST

I wondered whether it is possible to send vars from a page to another
using POST method without a <form> tag ??
I guess no...
any idea ?

No... but as POST is there for when you are changing something on the
server, and as its usually pointless to do that unless the user has entered
some data, and that that is best done with a form - it doesn't really
matter.
