old JREs

Hi there,

I've developed an applet with Sun's Java SDK 1.4.1. I'd like to test it on
older JREs, so IE 3/4 or Netscape users can use it, too.
Unfortunately I can't find older versions of the Java SDK on the sun java
page, and I probably won't be able to install IE 3/4 on my Windows XP
machine.
I'm pretty sure many applet developers already faced this problem, so could
someone give me a hint?

You couldn't find any older versions at java.sun.com? It took me about 60
seconds: http://java.sun.com/products/archive/

I would target JDK1.1.8 for IE3/4 users.
