Anyone had experience with the OpenTop library?

I have no idea, but I like the JavaDoc. That's actually a bit funny, in an
ironic sort of way.
It addresses a few of the same problems that Boost addresses:
synchronization, reference counting...

Is it better or worse than Boost, in regard of those common problems?

And what about the Common C++ library?

I've looked at that stuff, but have made no /conscious/ use of it. Some
programs I compile may be using it. It's hard to keep track. I went to
take a look at the documentation on my SuSE box, and decided to count
directories containing documentation for packages I have installed.

1064 1064 10150

That's directories, not ordinary files.
