Of course I could reimplement everything. But why, if someone already
has done it?
Going back many posts you listed a number of complaints about the code
you were using. Kludging it would be a bit like patching up an old
car. There would be yet another thing to bite you soon. That's why I
suggested the option of reimplementing with simpler code that you can
easily modify yourself to do what you want.
