Page Not Found..Internal Server Error

A

A. W.

Hi all,

I developed a site using Javascript ASP pages which
interface with a SQL 7 db.

All went well until about a week ago the company which
administers the server that this site sits on installed
Service Pack 4.

Now the ASP site will appear and disappear (which it
currently is). A site with no ASP on the same server is
viewable, but when I change the index.html page to
default.asp I get a "You don't have permission to access
this page" error.

The ASP site has not changed since the service pack
install, I can put an html page, name it as an asp page
and it will show up, but when I try to declare a language
or a connection, I get the following error:

Microsoft JScript compilation error '800a03ec'
Expected ';'

If I rename the asp file to an html file, I can see the
non-dynamic parts, but the .inc files and of course the
info displayed by recordsets is not there.

Any ideas??

Thanks,

Annette

Thanks for the response...apparantly two out of the three of the
ethernet connections for the server are down, so the webserver cannot
communicate with the database.
