Panels, DropDownLists,RadioButtons and Bears

hey all,

here's a weird one. i have a panel and i've put a radio button inside the
panel and disable the panel. it disables the radio button as a result.

well when i do the same thing with placing a dropdownlist inside a panel and
disable the panel the dropdownlist stays enabled? any ideas?
