paste buffer in X11

    Hi, i would like to make way to stuff some text in the X11 paste buffer, so
    that in another xterm i can past the text (middle mouse button)
    Is there a way in perl?

    I've never used it, but it looks like
    http://search.cpan.org/~king/Clipboard-0.09/lib/Clipboard.pm claims to
    do what you want. Might be worth a try.

    Thanks Paul,

    Clipboard.pm uses xclip. And that was exactly the tool i needed.
    So now i'm using a shell script together with xclip.
