PIL and fonts

Hello,

I wrote a quick application to annotate some images and find that
I would like to use different fonts. I am using Python 2.4 with
the PIL extension to do this. Moreover I use the ImageDraw text
method. I read the documentation on ImageFont and would like
a pointer to some useful instructions on how to get various fonts.

Or atleast how to find fonts on my Linux fidera3 OS and convert
them into the font format that PIL uses. I noticed they have
an application so if I can find some fonts I am off.

Any replies will be very much appreciated.
