Print trace of request

I tried to print the involving sequence for each request to
a struts action showing what action is first invoked and then
the action access what actionForm, then forward to what jsp and so on.

What is the good places to print out these info if I don't want to
override ActionServlet?

your question is a but confusing, are you asking where to print out the
statements (like a log file) or from where do you call the method that
caputres it to the log (meaning where in your code do you capture it)
