Problems with finding tk

J

John Slimick

Ruby still doesn't recognize tk.

A helpful person suggested that I
install Advance Tcl, which I did.
But still no recognition.

I looked in

/usr/lib/ruby
/usr/local/lib/ruby

for any trace of tk and found none.

Later, Mr. Google told me about a
package

ruby18-tk

which is BSD. I downloaded it and
I can't make heads or tails of what
I have downloaded; there is no README
or similar documentation.

So, does anyone have any thoughts about what
to do next. I really would like to talk
about Ruby/tk in my class.
