reading a unformatted file

What is the data I am asking to read is a music01.dat on a vedio cd
how it will be read and copied its content to a file on hard disk.
and that file on hard disk can run as normal video file.

Sounds like an OS-specific question. I advise you to ask it in a
newsgroup specific to your operating system.
