Recursion with JSTL possible??

HI all,

i have an xml file like

<root>
<node>
<node>
</node>
</node>
<node/>
<node>
<node>
<node/>
</node>
</node>
<node/>
</root>


is it possible to walk throoug this xml with JSTL?

i tried this with

<xarse......>

<x:forEach ....>

<c:import url="callagain.jsp">

</x:forEach>

problem is, that

1. i have to save the current node somewhere
2. tomcat container runs into an endless recursion

pls. provide an example.
