Reference a particular value within a hashtable or string

Hi,

I have a hashtable that stores clients details so a single client is referenced by 1 key. Within the details I have their name, address, number and can return all of the details for a specific client whenever I like as a string - but I want to know how to obtain a particular value such as only their name or only their address. I could therefore say I wanted to get a particular peice of data from a string.
