ruby 1.8.7 and rubygems

Hi to everyone,
5 minutes ago I installed the last version of ruby, 1.8.7. without
specifing a different path, so the new installation overwrite the
default system installation.

////////////
ruby -v
ruby 1.8.7 (2008-05-31 patchlevel 0) [i686-linux]
////////////

So the installation was ok.

/////////////
gem list
/usr/bin/gem:23: uninitialized constant Gem::GemRunner (NameError)
/////////////

Any advices?

Ok, I remove the last version and reinstalled the 1.8.6

///////////////
ruby -v
ruby 1.8.6 (2008-03-03 patchlevel 114) [i686-linux]
//////////////

rubygems no work yet
