SELECT does not scroll to selected value

Hi all,

I have a select element which display 5 elemnts. multiple selection is
not allowed. If my list contains 10 elements and I select > 6th element
the selected element is not shown after reloading the page. The element
is still selected but the srollbar does not scroll to the selected
element. Is there a way to solve this? Possibly without JavaScript?

Maybe. Depends on the browser. Didn't happen to me when I tested (after
creating my own test page since you did not bother posting a URL to help
people help you).

The element is still selected but the srollbar does not scroll to the
selected element. Is there a way to solve this?

Are you saying that you intentionally use an incorrect though valid-
looking address, and reveal this only in a sig-like formation? And are we
expected to contact you by E-mail to get your E-mail address, or hire a
private eye? - Consider your fake identity plonked.
