With the increasing size of the API I am
cautious about clicking any link to the
main 'index.html' of the on-line API docs* for
fear of the download size of the class list.
(lower left frame of..)
* <http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/>
I have been plumbing the depths of various
(rt.)jars using my own tools that will soon
be on-line, and decided to link each class
directly to the corresponging API docs
(I supoose that would mean 1.5->1.5,
everything else-> 1.4), so I surfed on
in to the 1.5 docs main index.
It was OK long enough for me to grab the
address, but then it crashed the browser**!
I am putting more effort to getting my
own access to the API docs on-line.
[ ** Yeh ..OK. The browser _was_
that notorious 'OS component' ;-) ]
