Soap - jdk1.5

Hi ,

I am looking at writing Soap Client for an application. I had a look
at axis from Apcahe. But it supports only jdk 1.4. I would like to have
an implementation that has the support for jdk1.5.

Your response will be greatly appreciated.

I use Axis from Java 1.5 code all the time. Did you have a specific
problem trying to use it? If so, post details so we can try to solve
the problem.

I tried compiling my wsdl using 1.5 and it worked. Can you tell me
where i can get the jars for the simplehttpserver. of apache axis. I
am getting a no class found error.

My understanding is that axis 1.x works with jdk1.4 and the axis 2 is
compatible with jdk1.5. I have a server running with axis 1.x and
jdk1.4 and I would like to communicate from a client that supports only
1.5.

Can Anyone tell me is axis 1.x interoperable with axis 2.
