sonarj type tools

P

pth

hi, does anyone know of any open source tools that do a similar job to
the commercially licensed SonarJ [1]?

I've come across ArchitectureRules [2] which seems to leverage the
jdepend API, (and obviously I know of jdepend) but was looking for
something a little more feature rich and interactive like SonarJ itself.

Cheers,
Darren.

Hi Darren,

Structure101[1] isn't open source but it is free for use on open
source if that helps.

Commercial licenses are $599 and the IDE plugin is free, although I
should point out the plugin currently requires you have at least one
copy of Structure101.

Contact the folks at Headway if you have any questions.

Cheers,
Paul

SonarJ is also free for open source. Moreover I heard rumors, that it
will soon be free for projects up to 500 internal types. Sounds like
there will be a pricing model that locks the price to the size of the
project.

Here are some more: JDepend, JavaNCSS, Lattix, XRadar.

Lattix is my favorite but it is not open source. All the other in the list are open source.
