unable to view asp pages

i have configured a web server at port 8888. i have a .asp
page which i want to view it through browser.
something like http://localhost:8888/test.asp isnt working.
please suggest me on how to do this....

I did a quick search and "isn't working" didn't turn up as a valid
error message. Perhaps if you told us specifically what you mean by
that we could provide specific suggestions.

Isnt working in the sense, the page is not comming. I'm
unable to view the page.

Hmmm... Could be your sunglasses are too dark to see the screen, have
you tried taking them off?

Okay, time to stop being sarcastic and either slap you or give you the
benefit of the doubt. Since it's still early and nobody else has
pissed me off today, I'll refrain from slapping you.

First, post in the IIS groups, this question gets handled every day
there.

Second, we *need* an actual error message or description of the
*exact* problem. Provide error messages from the screen as well as
the event viewer.

Third, browse the IIS group for a solution. There are many
possibilities, from a poorly configured browser to script blocking
software such as Norton's, and most are posted daily.
