VB.NET to HTM

D

Dan

How do I get an HTM page ( say INDEX.HTM) from an .aspx file in VB.NET? (I
am assuming that is doable)

Thanks

the aspx has to be processed through a webserver, do that only way to do
that is to have your client act like a browser (meaning that the page gets
downloaded).

You can either use the WebClient class or the HttpWebRequest/HttpWebResponse
classes.

Uisng Response.Filter, rendering to your own response stream, or using
System.Net.WebCLient.

Keep also in mind that you may have to adjeust references depending on what
you'll do with this makrup (for example uisng a base href tag in the head
section).
