Hello,

When Upgrading from VS 2003 to VS 2005 it seems everything chnaged from HTML
to XHTML and caused trouble.
No more upper case allowed for example.

How can i change this?

Dominique,

In VS 2005, go to Tools -> Options -> Text Editor -> HTML -> Validation

In that dialog box you can set the document type you want to validate
against. You may want to set it to HTML 4.01.

Here is more info...

You could also turn of errors altogether.

To clean up your HTML, you may should really look at Expressions.

http://www.microsoft.com/products/expression/en/default.mspx

It has tools to help you take HTML 4.01 websites up to modern XHTML
markup. It is an impressive set of tools.

Long term, it is a temporary bandaid, however, as you should move up to the
XHTML standard.
