Web custom control datalist databound problem.

Hi,
I create a web custom control which has an additional property in its.
Attribute of these values are bindable. Therefore I want to insert this web
custom control in a datalist and assign a databind value. But when I enter
newly added databinding value to the web custom control which is in the
datalist, I can't enter the Text databinding value. I mean text seems no
entering and shows nothing.
How can solve the problem.
