XML as a stand alone database

Hi All

I am looking forward to use XML as a database for my VB application. I
estimate to have 400 rows added per day and the columns are fixed
(just 4 columns). Do you think this will affect the efficiency of the
application? I would like to simple date related queries against this
XML database.

Thanks
Raja

Reconsider. XML is not a database management system. Read the
highlighted warning in http://xml.silmaril.ie/authors/databases/

Yes, grotesquely.

No verb this sentence.
