Applications Architect required for a Mid Florida project.
Applications Architect with a minimum of 5 years designing in J2EE is
required as part of an ongoing re-engineering project.
Work will include creating high level design, detailed design,
prototype, coding, testing and deployment.
You will be responsible for becoming familiar with existing related
documentation and subsequently:
Gathering requirements
Designing documents
Coding and testing
System testing
Deployment
Training and documenting
The successful candidate will have:
Experience Level:
5+ Years
Requirements:
BS Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
Minimum of 5 years experience in developing AND designing J2EE
Knowledge of design patterns and tiered/layered architecture
Minimum of 3 years experience in UML modeling (activity diagrams,
sequence diagrams, package diagrams)
Minimum of 2 years experience in Designing physical data model using
Oracle and SQL server
experience in developing web services and XML
experience in using relational Oracle and SQL server databases
experience in writing Unix Shell scripts
Knowledge of one or more software development methodologies such as
Waterfall, Unified process (Iterative) etc
Knowledge of FORTRAN and Pro*FORTRAN desired
