custom error mode

Hi,

The customerror mode is set to 'On' in my web.config and defaultredirect
page = "error.htm". In case of any other errors the page was getting
redirected to error.htm. When sql server was down , i got the following error
displayed,
Runtime error, Please turn off custom error mode in web.config to see the
error.
How do i avoid displaying this runtiem error to end user. Pls clarify
