Datagrid and paging

Dear all,

I use database table which bind to the datagrid at first time.
(1) Later if I update some values in the datagrid and go to next page and
go to previous page,
Would the value still show the updated one? How can I do in page index
changed event of the datagrid?

(2) e.g. there is a flag field in the datagrid. If I update the flag to be 1
from 0 when I select the record,
after several select across several page is it possible to insert records in
which the flag is 1 into the table?
I have dream a method to scan the datagrid, is it possible?
