I am trying to install the Eclipse help system (Infocenter) as a web
application in a production environment. There are different ways to
install it. Apparently you can run it standalone from the command
line (it has an embedded tomcat) with a front proxy (apache &
mod_proxy).
What I want to know is if someone had had any luck in running this as
a standalone web application inside of a Web Application Server
(Websphere, JBoss, Resin, etc.). Has anyone managed to turn this code
into a WAR/EAR that can be managed and deployed the way any JEE app
should.
If so any advice links to documentation would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
