I create a custom log and write new entries to this log fine. However, at random time, I got error message error message like this
"The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( MyCustomLog) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details.
When this happens, the entries are actually routed to Application log. How do I fix this
Second issue: I want to remove only numbers of entries (i.e. based on date) from EventLog, but I don't see any options to use. Would anyone know whether that's possible and how
