Free calendar that shows events?

I have spent some time searching for a free calendar that meets a simple
requirement which is that the month view shows the events on the days so
that with a quick view you know which days have events.

So far, all the ones I found are either calendar pickers which is totally
not what I want or a calendar where the month view doesn't show the events
(You have to click on a day to see if there's an event.. not very
practical)

Any recommendations.. please specify actual url or actual product name.

I get my free calendars that can list events from Butch who works for the
gas station up the block but when I click on Miss November's titties nothing
seems to happen. %-)
