I'm working with a white paper off the Crystal site trying to create a
simple report based on a recordset (altho eventually I want to use a
stored procedure).
The instruction is to create a dataset in VS, so I did that.
Next is to add a Crystal Report and to use the Report Expert wizard.
I do that, but when I select my double-click the dataset to be used as
the data source for the report, is shows 'no items found', whereas in
the walkthrough the dataset contains a table that can be selected. So
there's nothing I can select for the source.
If I look at the properties of the dataset it shows a tableName and
columns.
I can't figure out what I've missed.
TIA
