Good Score File?

Hello I have recently started using newsgroups and have found a great
deal of spam to be flooding almost every group I subscribe to. I was
wondering if anyone could help me find a decent score file to help filter
out all the spam. Perhaps once I can sort through all the spam I can
start learning and posting something productive.

I've found that news.motzarella.org does a good job of filtering out a
lot of spam before I see it. Note that the news.motzarella.org
servers are being phased out, replaced by news.eternal-september.org,
run by the same folks; if you're a new user, use the new servers.

http://news.individual.net does an excellent job of filtering as well.
It's not free though, costing 10 euros/year.

Their filtering may be good (I don't know) but on at least one of the
groups I read (comp.soft-sys.sas) they have really butchered the
message threads.
