IE on Mac

The page http://www.lichtsteiner-interventionen.ch/?Home_a looks correct
with IE on a PC; with IE on a Mac the picture on the top (logo2.jpg) does
not appear. Why?

And: the cyan area has with IE on a PC two limitations left and right which
continues in the logo logo2.jpg. With IE on a Mac the limitation is shifted
a few pixel. Why?

Should IE on PC an Mac not be the same? Are there a lot incompatibilities?

Mac IE and Win IE are totally separate programs, they have virtually
nothing in common except the name.
