Responsibilities
* Java design and development using (EJB, J2EE platform architecture,
design patterns, tools and APIs, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, RMI)
* Ability to lead development effort around Web Technologies, in
particular OOP/OOD, core Java including design patterns, Web Services,
and SOA.
* Produce high-level designs, architectural blueprints and technical
documentation.
* Translate complex business and application requirements into
technical architectures and work with internal and external technology
teams to manage change from concept to completion
* Perform Java & J2EE Performance Tuning to ensure scalability of
developed systems. * Experience developing and leading a team in an
Open Source environment.
* Architecture of large-scale distributed systems in Java. In
particular, as a Senior Java Developer he/she will be responsible for
developing middleware Java layer connecting existing back-end services
to a multitude of external partners.
* Responsible for maintenance and administration of pre-production
code environments
Interact daily with project managers, business analysts, other web
developers, gaining experience that will enable him/her to operate at
an Architect level on future projects.
* Collaborate with the other Product Development Team members to
ensure a cohesive development environment Experience.
* Ability to lead and mentor other Java developers.
* Strong Troubleshooting Skills and ability to close issues promptly.
* Successfully lead projects from start to finish - Demonstrated
success in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment.
Required Experience:
J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, JMS) Required 5 Years - JMX Highly
desirable
Web Services,XML(JAXP,JAXB,JAX-RPC/JAXR) - XML based technologies:
XPath, XSL, XSLT
Design Patterns/architecture:MVC,J2EE Design patterns,GoF Design
patterns Required 4 Years
Open source tools: Struts, Spring, Hibernate
Agile methodologies (RUP/ XP/Scrum/Feature driven development)
Connector Tools - Experience supporting Java/JDBC implementation
Experience with both DST and OLAP type applications
II. Secondary

written and verbal
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to
clearly communicate and share solutions with fellow team members.
Effective listening and problem solving skills
Recent experience in a software organization with work cycles and
product complexities similar to those at Client.

Education:
BS/BA in a relevant field - (CS, Math, Engineering ) * MS Preferred.
5 * 7 years experience leading a small team while remaining hands-on.
