Logon Failure

I am receiving the following error:
Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password

I have searched the groups for an answer but can't get my
program to work. I am trying to access a networked file
share using a Novell file server. I have tried using the
UNC path and the drive letter.

Everything I find is using active directory

How can I authenticate myself to a Novell File Server?
